The Award Ceremony for the Inaugural Young Artist Art of Travel took place in the evening on 2 November 2016 at the Hong Kong Cultural Centre and we welcomed hundreds of happy participants, winners, young artists, teachers, parents and grandparents from abroad (one family's grandparents came all the way from Brazil)!
At our prize ceremony, Chance shared a personal message: "A great company is not only defined by what they do, but also by our contribution to our community.”
Our winners:
- Best Young Travel Artist #1. Janice Ooi from NAIS class 8A
- Best Young Travel Artist #2. Annica 11yo MacDonald fromAnastasia's Art House
- Best Young Travel Artist #3. Ty Padgett from NAIS
- Most AdventurousYoung Travel Artist Mitt Ngan from Swiss Art Studio
- Best Storytelling Young Travel Artist Hailey Kwok from Swiss Art Studio
The anticipation of who would be the grand prize winner finally came to an end and everyone was proudly posing in front of their art works – it was a true celebration of art and travel!
There were gifts, flowers, awards, certificates and happy smiles all around.
The most precious gift the students took home are their artistic memories of their travels in a curated perpetual calendar.
